Google+ simplified

This is just a quick post, in fact more of a steal from Leo Burnett’s Cultural Fuel site, which I think explains Google+ in a way that I understand completely.

I guess deep-down a little bit of me always wondered ‘Google, why bother?’ Why bother joining it when you have Facebook?
And why the extra hassle for the big G to attempt to threaten Facebook’s position as THE social media site?
However, after watching this, it turns out that “little bit of me” has just been relinquished. Google needs Google+, in much the same way that people need news ways of communication. It is that simple.
