29 routes to creativity

Creativity is a word both over-used and often poorly defined. It also forms the focus of this lazy attempt of a blog post as I, uncreatively, regurgitate this slick video. Think of it as my Friday night medicine, or some internet-construed advice by someone who sounds like they know what they are talking about. Nevertheless it gives a few quick pointers at how to create that ‘lightbulb moment’ or at the very least, thaw that square-eyed, tongue-tied brain freeze.

At the moment, my creativity report card would read “excels at point 8, otherwise must try harder. Immediate recommendation? Bed.”

  1. Brain freeze happens to everyone at one time or another. The stresses of life can cause the brain to just freeze up and not be able to think clearly. Overcoming those brain freeze moments can be done using a few simple steps.Make a list of stressful issues. Stress often has many causes and getting to the root of those stressful elements of life can break the mental logjam and get thoughts flowing more freely.,
